One Day Internationals - Men
(Updated 1 Nov 2011)
The West Indies' tour of Bangladesh opened with comfortable wins for the visitors in each of the first two ODIs. However, the third match saw the West Indies humiliatingly bowled out for just 61 as Bangladesh grabbed a consolation win by eight wickets.

England travelled to the subcontinent but couldn't continue its good home form against India. The home team won the ODI series 5-0 with only one match stretching into the last nine overs.

Australia's tour of South Africa got underway with a three-match ODI series. The first two matches were shared one apiece, but Australia won the decider by three wickets.

New Zealand won the first two matches of its ODI series in Zimbabwe. However, the visitors failed to defend 328 in the final match to give Zimbabwe its highest ever successful run chase.

India's strong form saw its ranking jump from fifth to second in October, while England slipped from fourth to sixth. Before the team's loss in the third match, the West Indies' rating had reached its highest level since 2009.
